These peoples have lived in and cared for the lands, waters and skies here since time immemorial. This acknowledgement is offered as a reminder of the truth of colonization and its historical and ongoing impact. We hope it can be a step toward learning, change, and a starting point for respectful, reciprocal relationships in our work.
